XtruTex offer an extrusion service for medical grade biodegradable and non biodegradable polymers. This service is backed with considerable expertise and experience. We will be offering flexible on design specifications of the extruded material, reliability of supply and access to cutting edge technology. Provide a medical-grade plasma treatment facility for its extruded polymers as well as the customers own products. Gas plasma treatment of materials changes the surface chemistry of materials. Treatment can make surfaces hydrophilic (water attracting) or hydrophobic (water repelling), they can make it difficult for bacteria to adhere. Plasma treatment is also used to make surfaces more suitable for gluing by effectively roughening the surface. The parameters to achieve the appropriate effects are critical. XtruTex will be offering an advisory service as well as providing treatment Consultancy: XtruTex offers a “one stop shop” consultancy service for the development of new products and solutions and also for the fine tuning, testing and improvement of existing ones. This service can be offered alone or in conjunction with extrusion and plasma treatment and again is backed with experienced advice. |
